They've also got some impressive music business smarts--a kickin MySpace page easily charting over 600 plays a day, a page long list of big name sponsors...these kids are already laying the groundwork for hitting the big time. And hitting it hard!




Atlanta's bluegrass/country artist Bethany Dick struts into the trueAnthem world this week, her award winning blue fiddle in hand and a mean set of pipes to boot. Yep! Bethany kicks the "girl with guitar" stereotype right out the door. In addition to a female artists usual guitar capabilities, Bethany can rock the mandolin, fiddle and sing some mean harmony. She's also done time in Nashville and cites Allison Krauss as a lead inspiration. We think we're going to like this girl...
it doesn't hurt that she blogs from the heart...documenting her mouth blistering salsa experiences and first homemade apple pie achievements. We like a woman who knows when to picnic.
